ORDERING CUSTOM PRINTED FABRIC - HOW IT WORKS
We are very excited to be able to offer Custom Printing on fabrics on our 2 in-house printers. We print our natural fabrics with pigment ink and our polyester based fabrics are printed using sublimation inks.
Our Custom Printing services give our customers the option to turn their artwork into unique, one of a kind fabrics.
Whether it's your own drawing to make a cushion cover, simple design to create a fabric gift wrap or intricate design for your next dress, we would love to be part of this journey with you!
Here we explain about the ordering process, from uploading your files to receiving your beautiful fabric:
Decide which fabric base you would like to print your design on
You can find all available bases in Custom Printing tab in our main menu.
When you click on the fabric base you will find details like width, weight and also terms and conditions on our service.
Send us your design
You can upload the file on the product page before you add it to the cart.
The maximum size of the file is 50MB and it must be in one of the following formats: TIFF, JPG, PSD, AI.
To make sure your file meets all the requirements please read our article – All About Files
If your file is larger than 50MB we recommend to send it via free file transfer service – www.wetransfer.com
Make sure you send the file to info@customprintfabrics.co.uk and include your order number in message.
Once we receive your order we will check the file by request or print as sent to us.
We will check:
- the image resolution – it needs to be 300dpi.
- if the design is seamless
- the size of the design
If you opt in for a file check and scale preview, we then create a file with ruler to show you the scale of the design, just like this one here:
We will send you scale preview via email
Make sure you give us correct email address when placing the order and add info@customprintfabrics.co.uk to your email contacts.
Scale Confirmation
We need your confirmation if the scale of the design is right for you before we can print.
At this point we can also adjust the scale to your specification for a small fee.
We can also create a realistic mock-up of your design on garment to help you visualise the scale of the design:
Printing time!
Once we have a go ahead we print your design.
It may take 7-10 working days, you can always find up to date info on product page.
